Forever & Co. Returns and Exchange Policy

This Returns and Exchange Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms under which Forever & Co ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") accepts returns or exchanges of products purchased through www.forevernco.com (the "Platform"). By placing an order, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by this Policy in addition to our Terms of Use.

1. Nature of Our Products

Most products sold on Forever&Co are handmade, customized, or made‑to‑order. Due to their artisanal and bespoke nature, returns or exchanges are not accepted unless the product is received in a damaged, defective, or incorrect condition.

Small variations in color, texture, or finish are characteristic of handcrafted items and are not considered defects or grounds for return.

2. Eligibility for Return or Exchange

A product will be eligible for return or exchange only if it meets all the following criteria:

  1. The product was received damaged, defective, or incorrect (wrong item, size, or color) due to an error attributable to Forever & Co. or the vendor.
  2. The damage or defect must be reported to our customer support team within 24–48 hours of receipt of the order, along with photographic or video evidence.
  3. The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging, including tags, labels, authenticity cards, and all accessories.
  4. The product must be returned in the same condition as received.
  5. Forever&Co reserves the right to reject any claim without sufficient proof or where products are found to be used, altered, or tampered with.

3. Non‑Returnable and Non‑Exchangeable Items

The following categories of products are strictly non‑returnable and non‑exchangeable:

  1. Customized, handmade, personalized, or made‑to‑order products created as per customer specifications (e.g., engraved gifts, custom wedding invites, bridal robes, or hand‑painted items).
  2. Perishable items such as sweets, chocolates, or floral arrangements.
  3. Intimate or personal use items such as jewellery, hair accessories, or cosmetics.
  4. Sale, clearance, or discounted items.

In exceptional cases, Forever&Co may allow an exchange at its sole discretion if a valid reason and documentary proof of defect are provided.

4. Proof of Damage and Verification

  1. All return/exchange requests must include photo or video evidence showing the order number, packaging, and clearly visible defects or damages.
  2. Requests will be verified by our quality and vendor team before approval.
  3. If no valid proof is provided or the defect appears due to customer misuse, improper handling, or natural wear and tear, the claim will be rejected.
  4. Forever & Co's assessment is final and binding in determining the validity of a claim.

5. Return and Exchange Process

  1. Report: Inform our Customer Support team at support@forevernco.com within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide Evidence: Share images/videos showing the product damage with your order ID and contact details.
  3. Verification: Our team will review and confirm eligibility within 3–5 business days.
  4. Pickup/Return: If approved, Forever & Co will arrange collection through a designated courier or request you to ship it back at your cost (refunded later if claim verified).

Replacement or Refund:

  1. Replacement: In case of exchange, a new item will be shipped (subject to product availability).
  2. Refund: If replacement is not possible, refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of inspection approval.

6. Quality Check & Final Decision

Returned items undergo strict quality and authenticity checks. If the product fails inspection (signs of use, alteration, or damage not reported earlier), the return will be rejected, and the product will be shipped back to the customer at their cost.

7. Wrong or Missing Items

If you receive an incorrect product or any item is missing from your order:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of receiving the package.
  2. Provide unboxing video or images showing the shipment contents.
  3. Upon verification, we will replace the missing or wrong item at no extra cost.

8. Shipping and Handling for Returns

For approved return cases, Forever & Co. may reimburse or bear the return shipping cost only if the return is due to damage, defect, or wrong item. In any other case, customers must bear the return shipping cost.

Shipping fees, gift wrapping charges, and payment gateway fees (if applicable) are non‑refundable.

9. Cancellations

  1. Before Dispatch: Orders can be canceled only within 3 hours of placement if not processed or handed over to the vendor.
  2. After Dispatch: Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled as most are customized or made to order.
  3. Refunds for valid cancellations (if approved) will be issued within 7–10 business days.

10. Force Majeure & Vendor Liability

Forever & Co. acts as a marketplace intermediary between customers and independent vendors. Responsibility for the product quality rests primarily with the vendor.

Forever & Co. will, however, facilitate customer redressal per this Policy.

We shall not be liable for delay or failure in delivering products due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, transport strikes, or vendor delays.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian law, specifically under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and related E‑Commerce Rules.

Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.
